Meghan McDonald is a musician, writer and visual poet — usually all at the same time — based in Brooklyn. Meghan’s projects straddle the thin line between playful and philosophical, resulting in mixed media absurdism. Whether it be her “Moments that Breathe” poetry videos, her music that focuses on existential subjects (no stress in passing the Bechdel test here) or her absurdist short stories, Meghan’s main goal for her art is to expand norms and to grow. She is employed at The New York Times and published her short story “Mirrored Minds” in Carrier Pigeon Magazine. In summer 2016 she completed a music project where she street performed in 20 cities across the United States.
